So for decades Goodwin listed a Myrtle Creek address on her voting registration, but a couple of years ago that address changed to a winery tasting room ten miles away conveniently located in the district she's wanting to represent. Goodwin says it's no longer a tasting room, and she lives there.

OregonLive.com has more detail. Hope the winery owners have good attorneys.

Huge bbfan

They cruise through Oregon during an election cycle, and they probably have a po box in Oregon, but they don't reside here much.

Huge bbfan

We have reps and senators in DC who don't live in Oregon.

Yes, it's true, they live in DC when Congress is in session and come back to their homes in Oregon on a regular basis and when Congress is out of session. They can't commute daily because it's 2800 miles. How far do you commute to work?

Goodwin says the lawsuit is a tactic by the opposing party. That could lead people to believe she's being sued by Democrats. That's not true.

She said in a text to OregonLive that "the lawsuit was a “baseless attack” by supporters of Noah Robinson, Art Robinson’s son and her opponent in this spring’s primary race for Senate District 2."

Noah and Art Robinson are Republicans. This is Republican on Republican in-fighting. In case you missed it, Art is the former chair of the state GOP who asked Oregonians to send him urine samples.
