Nike cofounder Phil Knight on Friday told The Oregonian/OregonLive that embattled CEO John Donahoe has his “unwavering support.”
Knight’s statement came after a Thursday press event in Paris at which Nike unveiled a string of new products, a move seemingly designed to answer critics who say the company’s product line has gotten stale. It also came weeks, if not days, ahead of what’s expected to be the second wave of a mass layoff.
