Former Beaverton mayor pleads guilty to child porn charge

Then-Mayor Denny Doyle of Beaverton gives his State of the City address for 2020. Doyle lost reelection that year and was charged with possession of child pornography in March 2022. He pleaded guilty Oct. 11.

Former Beaverton mayor Dennis Doyle was arrested Monday, April 15, after allegedly violating his parole after he was convicted of downloading child pornography.

Doyle — who served as Beaverton’s mayor from 2008 to 2020 — was arrested by U.S. Marshalls and taken to the Multnomah County Detention Center on Monday afternoon, according to the Multnomah County Jail.
