For the second time in as many weeks, Police Chief Bob Day stood at a podium with Portland’s mayor and other officials behind him and declared a unified front against those who would disturb the city’s peace.
“Some of these actions we’re seeing, around anger and hatred, are crippling our city,” Day said Wednesday during a hastily organized press conference.
