Jeremy Burgert

A Milwaukie man who

as well as secretly taping his sister-in-law and a teen female neighbor as they showered at his home was sentenced to 30 years in prison.

Jeremy Burgert, 37, will be on post-prison supervision for the rest of his life when he is released and he will have to register as a sex offender, said Russell Amos, a Clackamas County Deputy District Attorney who prosecuted the case.

Burgert pleaded guilty in Clackamas County Circuit Court to using a child in display of sexually explicit conduct, first-degree sexual abuse, first-degree sodomy and private indecency on April 26. He was sentenced on Monday.

The girl was 7 when the abuse began, prosecutors said. Burgert video recorded sex acts with the child from July 2013 to April 2014. He also used a hidden camera in his bathroom to separately tape his in-law and neighbor in August 2012.
