CONTINUING COVERAGE | Applications open for Multnomah County's Preschool For All program
Families can choose up to six participating preschool programs on their application.
Officials say there aren’t income requirements for eligibility.
With a limited capacity, the county tells KATU News that priority will be given to those with the least access to high-quality preschool:
Multnomah County says the goal is to have universal preschool by the year 2030, and it is making investments in childcare infrastructure (higher worker wages, better training, expanding facilities, etc.) to expand the program.
Applications will be open until May 31, with waitlist spots opening again on a rolling basis through the summer.
