Dry, warmer Thursday

Showers return Friday and Saturday

PORTLAND, Oregon — Thursday brings warmer and dry weather. Highs rebound into the mid to upper 60s.

A new weather system arrives Friday, bringing showers starting early morning.  The scattered showers will continue Saturday.  Weather models show light rain totals.

The forecast shows dry weather Sunday and Memorial Day.  Monday will be the warmest with mostly sunny skies and highs well into the 70.

Timberline Lodge reports 6 inches of fresh snow on this Thursday morning.  Cascade travelers today will find dry, clean highways after possible early icy spots.
