Crews continue to make progress on Oregon wildfires

Crews are working on the Holiday Farm Fire, which started on September 7th, at approximately 8:20 p.m., from an as yet undetermined cause and is located along Highway 126 west of McKenzie Bridge to Vida, Oregon. Fire crews continue to make progress on the wildfires burning in Oregon.

Wet weather has been favorable for firefighting conditions over the past week, but dry and warm weather is on the horizon, which has everyone taking precautions.

The Beachie Creek Fire has burned 192,838 acres and is 52% contained.

The Lionshead Fire near Warm Springs has burned 204,340 acres and is 28% contained.

The Riverside Fire in Clackamas County has burned 138,09 acres and is 34% contained.

The Holiday Farm Fire in Lane County has burned 173,094 acres and is 45% contained. Many residents in Lane County were able to return home Saturday.

The Big Hollow Fire burning in southwest Washington has burned 24,995 acres and is 40% contained.
